National Coffee Day was an exciting day for the team here at Atlas Coffee Club!  If you’re new to the community I’ll quickly share a about usAtlas Coffee Club.  We’re a travel themed coffee subscription designed to explore the world of exotic coffee, each month a new country.  Ethiopia, Indonesia, Congo, and beyond, we curate and share specialty grade coffee, highlighting the unique differences in both taste and culture…

As you can imagine, having the platform on National press to share more about who we are and what we aim to do was incredibly exciting!  We started our journey to promote the story of coffee and how it differs from country to country with our boots on the ground hosting pop-up coffee shops with our road trip from New York to Los Angeles a year ago, and just yesterday we finally scratched the surface of sharing our mission with a larger audience.

With that, a very special thanks to the following News Channels and writers…

If you’re interested in learning more about National Coffee Day then join the club!  Little is know as to how it officially started but rumors date back to 1983 when the Japan Coffee Association first promoted International Coffee Day.  It wasn’t until 2005 that the United States started National Coffee Day.  Since 2005 Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, Ethiopia, Hungary, Iceland, India, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, and Taiwan all celebrate National Coffee Day on Sept. 29th.  Should you find yourself in Japan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or the United Kingdom on October 1st you’ll be celebrating then!

It’s been a great day of celebration here and we’re excited to see what the future holds!  Cheers to brewing better and growing as a coffee community across the globe!
